Right around the corner from Rittenhouse Square, Jacobs Music Company is hosting a free, eight-hour marathon of live, jazz piano music on Friday, June 21st, from 11 am to 7 pm. The Philadelphia Jazz Project has lined up ten master pianists from our area who will perform throughout the day at the Jacobs Music store at 1718 Chestnut Street. A Visit With The Horowitz Steinway Piano

This week, we're on location at Jacobs Music in Philadelphia where we visited its celebrity  resident - the Horowitz Steinway CD 503 piano. Legendary pianist Vladimir Horowitz owned and played only this piano during his lifetime, and it is now on tour throughout the United States as a special envoy for the Steinway company.
