The third broadcast concert of the Philadelphia Orchestra’s 2016-17 season has an all-French theme and it’s yours to enjoy this Sunday, December 4th, at 1 pm, as WRTI presents The Philadelphia Orchestra in Concert. Download our new App to listen wherever you are in the world!

Join us at 12 noon on Saturday (an hour earlier than usual) for Hector Berlioz's monumental and epic French grand opera THE TROJANS, with stars Susan Graham, Bryan Hymel, Anna Caterina Antonacci, Michaela Martens and Sasha Cooke, conducted by Donald Runnicles.

A symphonic self portrait that premiered in 1830 has become one of the most-performed works in the orchestral repertoire. WRTI’s Susan Lewis discusses this epitome of romantic program music with conductor Michael Tilson Thomas.
