A truly American experience is brought to life on Saturday, July 7th, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, when WRTI's Jill Pasternak speaks candidly - on location - with artist Jamie Wyeth about his life in art and the opening to the public of his father's studio in the family farmhouse in Chadds Ford, PA. 

WRTI's Jill Pasternak interviews PROJECT Trio, a passionate, high-energy chamber music ensemble comprised of three virtuosic composer/performers from Brooklyn, NY. Blending their classical training with an eclectic taste in musical styles, PROJECT Trio has made an impact on audiences of all ages. Bursting onto the scene with their landmark videos, right out of the Internet generation, PROJECT Trio is a musical experience defining a new level of entertainment!

Grammy-winning pianist Pablo Ziegler is Jill's guest this week. His Trio for New Tango appeared at Elizabethtown College this past March performing works by Astor Piazzolla.

Piazzolla brought the tango from the bordello to the concert hall, and in the process created Nuevo Tango ("New Tango") and became one of the 20th century's great composers.

Jazz vocalist Tessa Souter interprets various beloved classical works with her own passionate and poetic lyrics in her newly released album, Beyond the Blue. She is joined by major jazz artists Steve Kuhn, piano (and a Steinway artist to boot), bassist David Finck, drummer Billy Drummond, vibraphonist Joe Locke, Gary Versace on accordion, and Joel Frahm on tenor sax.

Broadway and TV star Bebe Neuwirth speaks with WRTI's Jill Pasternak about her stellar career and her new CD, Porcelain. Although Ms. Neuwirth is known by many for her TV role as Lilith on Cheers and Frasier, the majority of her work has actually been as a star on the Broadway stage.

Music for Youth's inaugural competition for piano, violin, and voice is called "You Got Rhythm," and is dedicated to the memory of George Gershwin on the 75th anniversary of his death.  Take a backstage look at the competition with Jill Pasternak's guests including Victoria Kogan - the founder of Music for Youth, International Opera Theater's Karen Saillant, Russian pianist Daniel Kramer, virtuoso pianist Susan Starr, and Francesca Gershwin, the grand-niece of George Gershwin.
