Flutist James Galway chats with Jill about his upcoming concert and recital schedule, with his wife, flutist Jeannie Galway. Originally Aired October 28, 2006.

Jill is joined by internationally acclaimed pianist Indrek Laul, who also happens to be President of the Estonia Piano Company, one of the few manufacturers with a world-class performer at its helm.

A fascinating Crossover this week, as Jill's guest is the voice behind the faces of some of Hollywood's most important musical stars. Marni Nixon has "ghost-sung" for Deborah Kerr in The King and I, Natalie Wood in West Side Story, and Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady to name a few. She has just written an autobiography that is spellbinding and Jill speaks with her about her life in music and films.

This Veterans Day, Jill speaks with Steve Frank, Vice President of Education and Exhibits at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. They'll take you on a walking tour of the profoundly moving 9/11: A Nation Remembers, the current exhibit on view until January 1st.

This week's Crossover is a Jazz-Classical double header. Jill Pasternak welcomes Eric Mintel, jazz pianist and composer, and violin virtuoso Elizabeth Pitcairn. Both are Philadelphia-born artists and have carved successful careers in their respective genres.

Jill takes you on a walking tour through Winterthur's current exhibit, Fashion in Film, which runs through January 7th. She's accompanied by Winterthur Host/Curator Kathleen Keifer and Nancy Lawson, the American representative for the renowned British costume house Cosprop. The exhibit features original period costumes worn by some of Hollywood's most glamorous stars in film classics.

Jill has four special guests this week, the members of the Mississippi Guitar Quartet. Its members, including founder Giovanni DeChiaro, will be making their New York debut at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall.

Choral master Robert DeCormier visits with Jill this week. Admired for the level of excellence he established in his 17 years as Music Director of the New York Choral Society, Mr. DeCormier continues that tradition with two recent releases, Yiddish Songs from the Shtetl to the Resistance, and the Argentinian mass, Misa Criolla, performed by his Vermont-based ensemble, Counterpoint.

Jill welcomes the great violinist Pinchas Zukerman.
