Classical Weekdays

Monday through Friday, 6 am to 6 pm

WRTI brings you the best recordings of works from the vast world of classical music every weekday from 6 am to 6 pm. Chamber music, symphonies, choral works, violin concertos, piano sonatas, and more...engagingly presented with insight and a smile by our knowledgeable hosts.

Playlists are below.

It's Marches Madness! Throughout this month, we're posting some of our favorite marches — from the concert hall, opera stage and parade ground. Got one we should hear? Played any yourself? Let us know in the comments section.

Don't miss what promises to be a fabulous concert brought to you live from the intimate Le Poisson Rouge in New York City. Founded by Daniel Barenboim and Edward W. Said in 1999, the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra brings together young musicians from Israel, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt – joined by a number of musicians from Iran, Turkey and Spain – to perform music and promote mutual understanding, non-violence and reconciliation.

This will be a live webcast, right here on, on Tuesday, January 29th at 8 pm. Join us!

WRTI is proud to announce that Gregg Whiteside has been selected as the new weekday morning host after a nationwide search.
