You're invited to a spectacular 12-hour day of opera featuring beloved arias, choruses, and ballet excerpts culminating in Rossini's L’iltaliana in Algeri performed by resident artists of the Academy of Vocal Arts. Saturday, November 15, 6 am to 6 pm on WRTI.
Hosted by WRTI's Dave Conant, Jill Pasternak, Jack Moore, and Susan Lewis, this celebration of opera will include numerous thank-you gifts to inspire you as we try to raise $30,000 in support of opera on WRTI.
At 11:30 am: An encore broadcast of Crossover featuring tenor Stephen Costello and soprano Ailyn Perez. Together (they are married) and separately they are considered to be two of America's fastest-rising opera stars.
