Did you know that our very own host Kile Smith is also a celebrated composer?
You probably recognize his mellow, intelligent-sounding voice from Discoveries from the Fleisher Collection, and from his contemporary American music show Now is the Time on WRTI HD-2. When he's not on the radio, he's most likely at home writing music - his first love.
Kile's Vespers, released last April, received rave reviews. And most recently his Two Laudate Psalms had their world premieres as part of a Lyric Fest concert.
