Giulio Cesare, one of Handel's most well-known operas, will be broadcast live over the Toll Brothers-Metropolitan Opera International Radio Network.
Giulio Cesare, one of Handel's most well-known operas, will be broadcast live over the Toll Brothers-Metropolitan Opera International Radio Network.
The performance features countertenor David Daniels in the tile role, Ruth Ann Swenson as Cleopatra, Alice Coote as Sesto, and Philadelphia-born countertenor Lawrence Zazzo as Tolomeo. Handel authority Harry Bicket leads the performance.
The first intermission will feature the beloved Opera Quiz.? The second intermission will include a Backstage Pass segment to meet some of the artists performing in the broadcast.
