Question: Just what is the WRTI Member Challenge Fund? 


Answer: The Member Challenge Fund is used to motivate WRTI listeners to pledge during our Member Drives when we have special Challenge Hours. How does it work? Loyal current members contribute additional money to the fund (no amount is too small!) to inspire others to support classical music and jazz. Do you remember what motivated you to make your first pledge to WRTI? It may have been during a Member Challenge when you heard that your pledge would be matched or doubled.

 If you ever pledged during a Challenge Hour, or contributed in the past to the Member Challenge Fund, you know how exciting Challenge Hours can be and how vitally important they are to the success of each Drive.



Question: How important is the Member Challenge Fund for WRTI?


Answer: As a result of having a substantial Challenge Fund during our past Winter Member Drive, more dollars were raised in one day than ever before. And over the course of the Drive, WRTI raised over $280,000 from 2,915 new and renewing members. 



Question: How can you help ensure that WRTI's Spring Member Drive is a success?
