Philadelphia, PA – WRTI News Director Windsor Johnston volunteered at the Sister Freda Medical Center, located in the Common Ground village of Kitale, Kenya, in December 2007. The center, which operates on a day-by-day basis due to a lack of funding, treats patients suffering from the common cold to Malaria. Windsor worked at the center's clinic for a week, and witnessed the facility's daily operations as well as their medical efforts in nearby slums.
