Pianist, Composer, and Arranger Bob Alberti

Join Jill Pasternak for a fascinating interview with Bob Alberti as he discusses his former career as a Hollywood studio musician, and shares his musical talents as a jazz pianist.

Bob Alberti has spent a lifetime in music as a jazz pianist, conductor, and arranger in the Hollywood television industry. He was music director and personal conductor for well-known stars including Paul Anka, Johnny Mathis, Jerry Vale, Keely Smith, Donald O'Connor, Jack Jones, Patti Page, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme.
His tell-all memoir, Up the Ladder and Over the Top: Memoirs of a Hollywood Studio Musician, recalls his accomplishments as a highly sought after performer/arranger during the golden age of television.

Alberti currently resides and performs in Hilton Head, South Carolina where he continues to delight audiences with his savory pianistic stylings of the great standards of jazz.
