WRTI 90.1 brings you The Philadelphia Orchestra in concert live with a one-hour delay from its 2018 Tour of Europe and Israel with host Gregg Whiteside. This simulcast from Vienna is on Friday, June 1st at 3 PM Philadelphia time.

Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts. Pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet is soloist.

You'll hear the Orchestra play in the historic concert hall, the Musikverein, which dates from 1870. 
The Philadelphia Inquirer's David Patrick Stearns reports on why this golden-hued venue is hallowed ground for classical musicians.
