You'll hear American works by Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, John Philip Sousa, and other favorites, and patriotic works honoring America's servicemen and women. Big Band music will have you swinging and singing through the holiday evenings and early-morning hours. Plus, a high school sophomore from Lansdale, PA is showcased on From the Top this Sunday. From the Top: 2 to 3 pm
Helen Gerhold, a 15-year-old harpist from the Philadelphia region, is showcased. A young woman with a busy agenda, she's a student at Germantown Academy, the principal harpist for the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, and a member of the Temple Prep Harp Ensemble. Way to go Helen!
