Lucy the Elephant
By Jim Cotter and Susan Lewis and Jason Peifer
July is one of the wettest months in this region. If you've discovered this while down the shore recently or are planning a trip soon, you should check out the next Creatively Speaking! for some activities ideas away from the beach! We visit Lucy the Elephant in Margate to learn about her past and see what's on the inside of this 125 year-old attraction; Wildwood is using a 1950's musical label to name and protect the town's distinctive 50's urban landscape. Susan Lewis explores DooWop architecture in Wildwood; Jason Peifer talks with professional sand sculptor Matt Long in Cape May, as the town gears up for its 7th Annual Amateur Sand Sculpting Contest.
