Join Jill Pasternak when she interviews the Grammy award-winning Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. Celebrating their 27th year, LAGQ continues to set the standard for expression and virtuosity among guitar ensembles, while perennially redefining themselves in their musical explorations. With over a dozen recordings, they have established themselves as masters of the classics, as well as the creators of a unique syntheses of world-music and contemporary styles.
The Quartet's new CD, Interchange, features the world-premiere recording of Sergio Assad's "Interchange" for guitar quartet and orchestra, and also Joaquin Rodrigo's "Concierto Andaluz." David Amado conducts the Delaware Symphony Orchestra.
