Look and Listen: Yannick and Quartet from Philadelphia Orchestra Visit "Oasis of Peace" In Israel

Shortly after arriving in Tel Aviv, four musicians from The Philadelphia Orchestra, accompanied by Yannick Nézet-Séguin, visited Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam, translated as "Oasis of Peace"— a cooperative community founded by Jewish and Palestinian Arab citizens of Israel.

Organized by Israeli-born cellist Udi Bar-David, the outing—which featured a concert for children—is one of several planned outreach activities.
