Jazz pianist James Collins, a student in the Temple University Jazz Studies program, is the featured guest on Straight Ahead with Jeff Duperon this Saturday night at 6:30 PM.
James will perform all original music, featuring a band of some of Temple's most talented students, on Wednesday, September 18th.The performance, open to the public, will be held at the Underground - a jazz venue located under the Howard Gittis Student Center on main campus that presents a concert series once a month throughout the school year.
Other artists that will be featured this year include Norman David and the Eleventet, Jeremy Pelt, Wycliffe Gordon, Rene Marie, and the Jeff Hamilton trio.
