Harpist Yolanda Kondonassis

Hailed by the New York Times as a harpist with "powerful playing and musicianly energy," Ms. Kondonassis is recognized as one of the world's foremost harpists. Since her debut at age 18 with the New York Philharmonic and Zubin Mehta, she has appeared as a concerto soloist and recitalist with numerous major orchestras throughout the United States, Far East, and Europe.
Ms. Kondonassis' album Air was nominated for a Grammy Award for best?chamber music performance of a work by Japanese contemporary composer Toru Takamitsu. The album champions the environment, and part of the proceeds support the Environmental Defense Fund.
