Madeleine Albright, former U.S. Secretary of State

Philadelphia, PA – WRTI News Director Windsor Johnston speaks with former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright during a visit to Philadelphia in February 2007.

Dr. Albright shares her views on the current state of foreign policy and the upcoming presidential race, and also discusses her experience as America's first woman to serve as Secretary of State. Some aspects of her personal side are also revealed, which many would find quite surprising!

Author of the recently published book Memo to the President Elect: How We Can Restore America's Reputation and Leadership, Dr. Albright was in town speaking at the Kimmel Center as part of the 2007-2008 Philadelphia Speakers Series presented by Widener University, and sponsored by WRTI.
