January 9
Vocalist Laika Fatien joins Jeff for an interesting conversation. Born in Paris to an Ivory Coast father and a Moroccan-Spanish mother, La?ka was raised in a Moroccan Jewish family. For musical inspiration she leans towards her maternal Sephardic culture, open to different styles of music from the Mediterranean.

The Jazz Meet-up Group represented by Dan Hartwick and Leah Garnett chat with Jeff. The group is for people who enjoy live jazz and want to meet other like-minded souls.

The tenor saxophonist Houston Person talks about his most recent release, The Art and Soul of Houston Person, a three-disc set.
