The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia on WRTI: Vivaldi, Tartini and Wiren, Sunday, Jan. 18, at 5 PM

Hai-Ye Ni

You'll hear two sparkling Baroque cello concertos on this month's Applause! broadcast of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Sunday, January 18th at 5 pm. 
 
Hai-Ye Ni plays, and conducts Vivaldi's Concerto in A minor, RV 418 and Tartini's Concerto in D Major in a program that also includes music from the pen of Swedish composer Dag Wiren, from an archival broadcast of the orchestra, conducted by Marc Mostovoy, who founded the ensemble in 1964.

Marc Mostovoy is past artistic director of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia (formerly Concerto Soloists), which he founded in 1964.
