Director of Content

The Director of Content manages the programming, production, and digital departments of WRTI. Using a combination of vision, insight, sound judgment, experience, and analytics, the director leverages content across broadcast and digital platforms to maximize audience service and value. The director oversees the acquisition and development of all new programming, including working with external content partners to identify, nurture, and present new content to WRTI’s audience. He/she provides leadership and participates in policy development as a member of the management team. The director manages a staff of 10 full-time, 6 part-time, and 3 volunteer positions. Performs other duties as assigned. Reports to the General Manager.

Assistant Production Manager

The Assistant Production Manager supports and reports to the Production Manager to manage broadcast and digital audio projects, including recording and editing audio. Responsible for sound production and audio engineering of speech and music-based programming in the studio and on location. Manage and execute post-production, including editing, mixing, processing and final preparation for broadcast of program elements, in collaboration with arts and culture reporters and membership staff. Position is part of the Director of Content's portfolio. Performs other duties as assigned.
