WRTI is currently seeking a Membership Manager to join our Development team.  A licensee of Temple University, WRTI is the Philadelphia region’s leader in classical music and jazz programming.  The successful candidate must be a creative self-starter with proven successful skills in planning, executing, and evaluating direct-mail, on-air, and online fundraising.  Reporting to the Director of Development, the membership manager oversees the station’s annual individual giving program of over $2 million a year,  including 3 on-air campaigns, all renewal, acquisition, and additional gift direct-mail, telemarketing, sustaining gifts, and e-renewals.  Demonstrated knowledge of Memsys or other public broadcasting membership software is essential.  Bachelor's degree required with minimum 5 years directly related experience including significant professional responsibility for an equivalent functional role in donor relations, fundraising coordination and customer service/support.  Ability to work well under deadlines and as member of team are essential, as well as demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.

WRTI is currently seeking an Afternoon Classical Music Host to join our Programming team.  A licensee of Temple University, WRTI is the Philadelphia region’s leader in classical music and jazz programming.  The successful candidate will host and engineer a weekday 4-hour music program from 2pm to 6pm. Incumbent must possess a relaxed and engaging on-air presence, a thorough knowledge of classical music and familiarity with European languages (especially French, Italian and German). They must also have strong air-studio board operating skills, be proficient and comfortable with internet search techniques, have good interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer service. Other duties include producing recorded on-air announcements and material as necessary for underwriting, member drives, and promotional needs. The successful candidate will also participate in on-air fundraising, respond to emails, calls and correspondence from listeners, make station appearances for fundraising and promotional events, and  assist in music programming and scheduling as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Relevant Bachelor's degree in broadcasting, humanities or related field desired. Minimum five years on-air major market radio experience including music selection, scripting continuity breaks, and announcing classic music. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
