Igor Stravinsky's 1918 <em>Ragtime for 11 Instruments</em> draws its inspiration from popular music of the time, including jazz. Aaron Copland's&nbsp;jazz-steeped Clarinet Concerto dates from 30 years later, a commission from Benny Goodman. Wynton&nbsp;Marsalis has describe his "Swing Symphony" as a symphonic meditation on the evolution of swing, and prominently features the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, with the Philharmonic.&nbsp; Alan Gilbert and Case Scaglione‚Ä® conduct.
